The Victorian hotel built in 1865, is situated directly on The Strand, a bustling and historic area of London. Designed by the architect of the Royal Opera House, The Clermont, Charring Cross was designed to make a statement of grandeur with its wide staircase and dramatically high ceilings.
Rooms
We booked a Deluxe King room and felt it was spacious and thoughtfully designed, complete with a desk to get some work done, a Nespresso machine and complimentary minibar.

Dining
Before our daily excursions, we filled up on hearty Full English breakfasts or a selection from their continental offerings. Imagine starting your day in a room filled with plush velvet couches, each adorned with tassels, surround by gilded mirrors, chandeliers and arched windows overlooking The Strand.
Each day concluded with a either a craft cocktail or glass of wine at The Clermont Bar, a room drenched in a moody violet and funky art.
